I really love those harmonies and the chang-ups in the feel of the song. In addition to being catchy as hell! :D

I think it's pretty cool. I love that lead - there's so much energy. It's perfect for a geo-dash level. But yeah... a lot of people have said stuff about the side chain and I agree. I also am a sucker for punchier kicks and fat, arcing chords/saws IMAO. Nicely done tho :D

Glad you like it :D Thanks for the tips!

It's pretty good. It's kinda repetitive though. However, the main thing is the mixing. The biggest problem is that there is little thought to how a section of these instruments would sound in real life. Plus the reverb on the drums doesn't match up with the reverb on the rest of the instruments. Of course, besides this, the repetitive chord progression clashes with the fact that I'm guessing this isn't a professional digital orchestration program, which as a musician myself with a pretty low budget, I can totally relate to. Overall, it's pretty good, and you really did a phenomenal job getting across the mood (unless I was supposed to be scared) that the song was supposed to send. Nice work :D

Actually, I used Miroslav Philharmonik. I want to get the EastWest library, but I can't afford it.

Thanks for the review :)

I've always how you've incorporated a variety of different instruments into your music, man. You're songs can sound so alive, and despite the fact that it keeps a pretty repetitive chord progression going, it never fails to sound new. Never stop making music please :D

Man this is so fire. I like your phrasing of the the lyrics and the background which mixes a haunting sound with the heavy bass and that killer kick. This song is hype as shit bro.

I really like your sound design. Sounds kinda like the stranger things OP :)
Would work really well for a sci-fi action show OP like Firefly, Dark Matter, or maybe a buildup to an action scene in something like Marvel's Agents of Shield.

This is sooooo intense. :D Nice job. I think it needs some thick, hard taiko hits though. These drums sound like normal kit drums and just kind of get drowned out by everything else.

Really nice job!!! This song really gives me the feels and would be great for a soundtrack to something like LOTR! This song does everything it needs to without any doubt. Well done.

You've got good ideas, man. I don't know what DAW you are using, but this drop just sounds rather flat. You really need to bring out the growls and add a punchy sub-bass. Also those chords are more sound more distant than pluto. They need to be fatter. If you have access to Serum or Massive, I'd definitely take advantage if I were you, since besides that, this sounds pretty awesome. Nice job!

Cimba responds:

Ya it's frustrating because I feel like some of my mixing on my EDM tracks are pretty good and some of them are trash...I'm never sure what I'm doing right or wrong. I unfortunately don't have any really nice synths because I have to spend all of my money on orchestral sound libraries and such usually

lol the screamo sections :)
I wish you brought out the saw chords middle frequencies a bit more in the big melody section around 0:53. Nice job though. :D

I am a creator. I love anything and everything. I don't have enemies - only friends.
